45 kg rice donation to Amma Odi Orphanage by Himavathi Apartment association and Rammohan Reddy

After I started my initiative in my apartment by keeping one rice donation box, people started donating 1Kg rice every month and collected 20 Kg in the month of December.

How can I help

In this month Mohan Reddy.R ha donated 25 Kg rice on his Grand Son's Birthday ( I wish him a Happy Birthday to little hero). 

I would like to thank each and every family from Himavathi Apartment and Mohan Reddy Garu for their kind help to the Orphan students studying@ AMMA ODI orphanage.

100 Kg rice donated to Chintappally Madarsa by Shamsheer Ali bhai

My big brother's daughter got job this year after completing her B.Tech. So he celebrated this by donating 100 Kg rice to poor people studying in Madarsa @ Chintapally Village Nalgonda District.

I would like to thank my bro for his kind heart and helping hand. I pray to god to help him to continue his helping hand to poor people in  needy.

Books donation to Ramantapur Govt School - by yellappa and Rajesh

As I said in my previous post, many people celebrate their Birthday's with donations to poor people. This is one of the best way of celebrating birthdays and anniversaries...

Here also my friend Yellappa celebrated his birthday by sponsoring books to 10th Class students in Govt. School @ Ramantapur HYD.  Yellappa has proved again that he is a book warm and helped many students to get good marks and to higher studies with flying colors. Along with Yellapa, Rajesh ( Friend of Manjuha)  and Manjusha also sponsored for 6 books. These three made Goddess Sarawathi to feel happy.

Total 18 sets ( ALL IN ONES) of books given to students in 3 sections.

When I gave these books to these student friends, they felt very happy and thanked all these sponsors.

Here, I would like to thank all the teachers for supporting us in taking our initiative further to grow.

50 Kg Rice Donation to Friends Foundation by Shoba garu and Vijay Ganji

When I spoke with this Friends Foundation founder Ranjith, I surprised be hearing from him why he has started the initiative of starting with an  Orphanage. He said, he is very poor and he brought up in such a environment where studies are very difficult and then he thought should help the poor and orphans after grown up. He started with this initiative at the age 23 years and working still very hard to help his 45 orphans children's.

For this month I got donation from one of my college friend  Vijay Ganji ( 25 Kg Rice) and

25 Kg rice from one of the family ( Shoba Garu) living @ Himavathi Apartment. 

I would like to thank both of these for rice donation and which helped 45 student orphans at Friend's Foundation.

I wish them a happy and peaceful life and pray to GOD to help them to extend their helping hands to many more who are in needy.

One more thing,  I bought this rice (50kg) using Free charge App and I got 200/- cash back as I was using this app for the first time. I bought 6 writing Pads with this amount and given to 10th Class students.

 

 

50 kg Rice Donation to ASHA KUTEER Orphanage by Kishore Anna

When I informed about rice donation concept to my friends, I have received very good response from them.

One of my friend - KISHORE M (Anna) has messaged me saying its  very good initiate and would like to donate rice to one of the Orphanage and he said my DAD will send the rice to your address. I have received 50Kg  rice in a week  time through transport.

I have called ASHA KUTEER Orphanage and informed about the 50Kg rice donation this month, they felt very happy for helping Orphan Children.

In Asha Kuteer, total 45 Orphan students ( Orphans, Semi Orphans and kids of HIV parents) were living here.

On behalf of Asha Kuteer Orphan Students, I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Kishore anna and wishing his  family a happy & peaceful life...Also praying GOD to help him to extend his helping hands to help many more.

 

Vineetha has donated Bed and Bedsheet to AMMA ODI orphanage

People do charity at different occasions, sometimes based on necessity and some times on important occasions like Birthdays, Anniversaries, Exam Result and sometimes on Individual / family success...

This time, one of my Apartment mate (Vineetha)staying @Himavathi Apartment Habsiguda want to do some charity to orphans on her Father's birthday.

As I was doing rice collection @ Himavathi Apartment, so they contacted me to organize any lunch / dinner @ any orphanage. I contacted AMMA ODI and enquired about the lunch and if any other requirements for kids. They suggested for Beds instead of lunch as it is a winter and kids are feeling very cold.

I have informed the same and they agreed for it to buy within their budget and she bought 8 beds and 12 bed sheets.

I have asked the Orphanage managing team to come to our apartment to collect the beds. They have come home and collected the beds and bedsheet. Also we went to orphanage to distribute the beds and bedsheets to students. It is beautiful to see the happiness on the faces of kids when they took them.  Also they thanked her (Vineetha).

On behalf of Orphanage, I wish Happy Birthday to her Father and also I wish God bless her and her family.

Rice Donation to Agape Orphanage by Ramadevi garu and Manjusha

With the initiative  of collecting rice (1Kg) from each family once in a month, I have arranged a Rice Collection Box @ Himavathi Apartment by taking permission from President and Apartment association. Initially I have informed to  each and every family in the apartment regarding my initiative to collect the rice and to donate to Orphanage.  God grace, many families has responded positively saying it's a good initiative and ready to donate rice every month. This initial meet with people has given me enough boot to proceed with this initiative. Here I have to thank my wife for giving me support at each stage.

A BIG thanks to Himavathi Apartment association members for accepting to keep the Rice collection box.

I surprised with the response in month itself, two members ( my friend  Manjusha and other from Himavathi Apartment) have donated 25kg rice bag each and collected total 50Kg rice and donated to AGAPE orphanage located @ Uppal.

How can I help them...

Donate Just 1kg rice once in every month...

Do you know how many people in India are Orphans?  Its about 20 million children, about 4% of their population in India are orphans.

Here the important thing to think, how many orphanage hostels are getting funds and how much % of total expenses this funds fulfill? Also not sure every orphanage gets funds.Whenever we discuss about orphanage donations, many people think that they get funds, so no need to donate...but from where and who are giving these funds (the people like us) and these funds will be sufficient ? Here my kind suggestion before we reject to donate is, just think if every one rejects to donate like us, what happens to those innocent  kids suffering because of someone' reason?

Internationally, an income of less than $1.90 per day per head of purchasing power parity is defined as extreme poverty. By this estimate, about 32.7% percent of Indians... are extremely poor.

Cannot we do something to those poor and orphans which we can afford? Yes we can do...

Its very simple, from each family just donate one handful of rice everyday from your cooking bowl.

 As it is not possible everyday to take and save the handful of rice in a bowl, so take just 1Kg of rice at a time and donate once in a month.

If every Indian family gives"one kg Rice once in every month", imagine how much rice is collected in a month ? With this we can eradicate complete hunger in every village, district and state...
So, what we have to do now? Just arrange a rice collection box in your apartment/ area/locality and ask them to donate just 1kg rice once in every month and hand over the collected rice to nearest orphanage or to any poor in need.
Why to wait to start with a good thing, start donating just1 kg rice first with your family and then relatives, your apartment people and then...collect and donate to orphans.

You can also DONATE in bulk like 25Kg/50Kg/100Kg bag...
